My name is Stef and I welcome you to PowerShift Auto! Here, we focus on the love that goes into automotive projects, do-it-yourself maintenance guides, and exciting automotive events!

PowerShift Auto derives from my passion for all things automotive and the love I have for the hobby. My dad exposed me to cars through his love for the classic American muscle car. From there, I expanded my knowledge through automotive journals, YouTube Channels, television shows, and magazines. My automotive love has heavy influence from Hollywood movie cars and the local car club events I have attended over the years.

My love for automotive modification began at the age of sixteen when I obtained my first car. I received my brother’s old 2001 Acura CL with a 3.2L J32 engine. Despite it not being an ideal car for modifications, this car taught me about potential. I modified the car to my liking and learned about the different ways cars can be improved. The modifications I did to the CL set the stage for my future outlook on automotive performance and what I believed was the easiest method for someone to make their car unique and enjoy the hobby.

Fast forward to today, I am currently searching for the next project to fuel my automotive passion. My goal is to locate that once-in-a-lifetime car by exploring the hobby further through this blog.
