Forza Horizon 6 Has Been Announced!
Since the dawn of the Forza Horizon franchise, fans of the game have BEGGED for the sequel to take place in Japan. Fortunately, that day has come. In 2026, Forza Horizon 6 will bring us the beautiful landscape of Japan to race our favorite cars during this fictitious automotive festival. If you’re anything like me, then you already know what is to come. Replicas of the legendary anime, Initial D, will be tackling the mountain passes and some of us will be learning how to drift in a Red Evo 9. However you wish to experience the land of the rising sun, it will be absolutely incredible.
In addition to the exciting news of this launch, the game will debut on Xbox GamePass as well, making it extremely accessible to a wide array of gamers. What I’m most excited about is getting back into a new Forza game. I have been a fan of the franchise since Forza 4 and am looking forward to the future.

Our Wishes For Forza Horizon 6
While the news of this game are epic enough, I do have some requests that hopefully get answered for this next installment.
- Unique JDM Cars: I absolutely would love to see some of Japan’s obscure automobiles make its way into the game. Personally, I would love to see a Kei Car specific race. Who wouldn’t want to see a mob of Honda Actys or Daihatsu Miras tearing up the streets? Other cars I would love to see are the first and second gen Eclipse GSX, Toyota Chaser, Toyota Cressida, Mazda Cosmo, or the Mazda MX-6 (simply because I think its an underrated body style). If you’re a fan of Japanese legends such as myself, I urge you to read up our JDM Sports Car article!
- A Wider Array Of Vehicle Customization: Let’s be honest, JDM tuners would not have the impact they have had without the bold styling they have had in the aftermarket. The early 2000’s “sex-spec” cars would absolutely rock in Forza Horizon 6. Additionally, unique body kits and throwbacks such as the old Wings West kits would be awesome! Mix it together with modern build styles and I think the customizations would be a hit!
When Will We Hear More?!
With the Game just now being announced, I’m sure it will take some time for more news. I am sure there will be an epic marketing campaign behind the game’s release. Maybe we can get some Forza Horizon 6 inspired car meets in the States!
Conclusion
Forza has been a game near and dear to my heart as it aided in my upbringing in the car world. I am absolutely stoked for this game and it could not have come at a better time! My PC has recently been upgraded from its old 2070 super and it is ready for racing! Should I build a racing sim setup? Or should I leave the majority of my money to my real cars?
