More Than A Blog: An Exciting Transformation For 2026

The end of the calendar year is a natural time of reflection for everyone. What did we do well? Did we fall short of our goals? What did we learn? All questions that lead to the never ending quest for growth. While lofty goals are a motivation tool for us, life gets in the way.

When I embarked on the blog journey in 2023, my goal was to display car culture is the most positive light we could. We saw a need to draw in the next generation and inspire them to work on their cars and make their vision become reality. Since beginning this blog, I have met some fantastic people and seen some amazing cars.

While there have been some success with the platform, we have some missed great opportunities to improve. Much like you, we too want to grow and be better than yesterday. 2026 is fast approaching and we want to level up alongside you!

What Did We Accomplish In 2025?

Powershift Auto’s biggest accomplishment was easily collaborating with Built For Backroads! Kyle and Paul graciously took time out of their busy schedule to speak with me about their site and cars in general. Additionally, we were able to steadily improve our visibility online both on the internet and on socials. While we are still very much in our humble beginnings, it is a sign of moving closer to our goal.

Where Did We Fall Short?

Our biggest shortcoming by far is irregular content. With all of the possible media sources you can go to, why would we keep you hanging around waiting? We apologize for the lack of consistency and that is what we will fix for this year. While life may get in the way, there are a multitude of ways we can navigate around that. How will we inspire the next generation of car enthusiasts without engaging articles or educational content?

How will Powershift Auto grow you ask? Our goals for 2026 are to maintain a regular content schedule, collaborate with readers like you to show off awesome cars and projects, and broaden our horizons by attending epic car events that we will bring you along for! Personally, we think SEMA 2026 could very much happen! Maybe if we are lucky enough, it can be achieved with a press pass attached to it!

Lastly, we would love to take steps towards improving some of our vehicles like the Wrangler and the Chevelle! Obviously, when any upgrade happens, you all will be the first to know!

Powershift Auto is here to be your source for all things automotive. To improve, we absolutely need your feedback! Whether its an email, social media DM, or a comment on our YouTube channel, we want to know your thoughts. When we receive information from those engaging in our content, it allows us only to get better.
